When you think of kindness, you think of someone being nice to you or pleasant, gentle, patient, offering a helpful gesture. However, kindness is not just about being positive, helpful, and gentle, but it’s also acting on what someone needs. The kindness of God is one of the most fascinating and mind blowing qualities of God, that he, who is Yahweh, is kind. Looking to accounts of people being healed by Jesus throughout Scripture, we see how God’s kindness acts, goes first, and is selfless, ultimately, giving us a model that we can embody and emulate.
