As we near the end of the year, there are things to be forgotten in 2020 but there are things to be remembered in 2020. In Revelation 3, Jesus is saying, "wake up" to the church in Sardis because they are dead. Jesus reminds them to remember what they've received and heard, keep it, and repent. As we lean into the future and what we're going towards, it's not enough to say that this year was terrible and start looking to the next. We have to start plowing our soil and preparing the soil. We must allow God to prepare us in this season and not let this season destroy us.
