When we talk about prayer, prayer can sometimes be very misunderstood and seem very intimidating and it sometimes seems pointless to us. Prayer is a conversation between you and the Father. Looking to Jesus’ life on earth, we see that prayer was His lifeline and He was persistent about praying to God during His ministry. We must be persistent in prayer. Even when it seems like God is not doing what we want, when we want it, and how we want it, we must trust God and submit to His plan, even in the waiting. It’s all about the motive of our prayer and being close to Him. Keep asking, seeking, and knocking. Listen to this sermon about praying persistently in the third part of our SEEK series.
