Listen it was a DIFFERENT TIME. You wouldn't get it. Things were different back in the 80s. Were there horrific problem within literally every aspect of our social norms in America? Yes of course. Can it be displayed throughout this film? Absolutely of course. BUT THAT ASIDE THIS IS PRETTY DECENT MOVIE AND VAL KILMER IS HOT SO WE IMPLORE YOU TO LISTEN. Also at the end we play a few seconds of a Lorde song so that alone is worth it.
