In this episode we work on the negative inner dialogue that traps us in anxiety and worry. We introduce a technique called Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy which is the most scientifically validated method for working with anxiety; and the most widely researched psychological therapeutic intervention. We started with the cognitive piece of the technique and worked through our thoughts and feelings using a format known as the Daily Mood Log (you can find images of The Daily Mood Log on our Facebook page). Both Chance and I walked through personal examples using the Daily Mood Log and we hope that you will use the log that we have attached to the show notes and follow along with our demonstration. Let’s work together to challenge our negative, anxiety provoking thoughts so that we can all feel less worried and more alive.
