Mark Teodosio is a Filipino comic book creator of "The Realest Bayani". He came on the podcast to talk about his experience growing up in Brooklyn, being the only Asian boy in a Latino neighborhood which earned him the nickname “Chino,” being witty to survive and when that’s not enough his dad enrolled him in a ninjutsu class, the positive effect of bullying, Filipino’s connection to hip-hop, getting into rapping, teaching our kids the history of hip-hop, how the death of his cousin and former president of the Philippines Rudy Duterte promoting vigilantism inspired him to create his socially aware Filipino comic book “The Realest Bayani”.
