I certainly wouldn't have predicted we'd be sitting here after two games with an 0-2 record. Here's my attempt to process my confusion, disappointment, maybe even frustration.
As a fan, I completely understand these emotions and am just as spooked by what has happened on the field in the last couple of weeks. As a lover of FSU Football, I just hope that whatever is going on within the team gets addressed quickly and everyone is okay.
I hope this episode provides a space to ponder some of the issues that may be bothering this team and I would love to have an open dialogue with you guys about any other issues you may see. Heading into this bye week, this team has nothing to lose by making some adjustments, so we'll see what they decide to do. I hope that as a Florida State community, we can rally together and support them as they figure it out.
In the midst of a lot of negatives (which do feel good to get off my chest), let's try to focus on the positives for now! Ryan Fitzgerald has overcome huge mental blocks and become the heart of the team. It makes me so incredibly happy to see him succeed. Alex Mastromanno is a baller. AND we officially have NFL games to watch! I can't wait to see all our Noles in the pros!
