Description

Discussion of the romantic poet John Keats's dictum in a letter of 1817 regarding what makes the best poetry, with all kinds of forays into this process's relationship to philosophy, mysticism, 'peak experience', meditation, politics, history and other modern movements in literature.

Also, a related statement very much in line with the notion of negative capability would be; "If poetry comes not as naturally as the leaves to a tree it had better not come at all."
