Description

Keila Strong is a self taught artist from Chicago IL. She is best known  for her distinctive abstract portrait style, and her booming use of colour.  Favouring acrylics; Keila paints thought provoking pieces, with underlying messages of hope and compassion.  

Influenced by the Cubist art movement and her Christian faith; Keila  makes inner connections and lasting impressions with her viewers. 

Keila has been active in the arts community; sharing her work in galleries and  local art shows since 2016.  In August 2021, Keila hosted her first solo art exhibition entitled  “Morning”;  which was a dream come true. 

On today’s episode Keila talks about her “Last Supper” painting and its connection to Black LIves Matter, her process as an artist and the importance of painting in her life.
