Rob Fisher is a soccer scout and writer. Born and raised in North Carolina, he graduated from
Guilford College and went on to serve three years in the US Peace Corps. Posted in Eswatini, he
used soccer as an instrument to teach about HIV/AIDS and worked at the youth and professional
level. He coached a rural high school to two conference titles, one regional championship, and a
national semifinal. Shortly after, he began scouting professionally in the United States and
released his first e-book, RF Volume I: The Opposition Scouting Portfolio. He’s currently
starting a nonprofit that discovers players in marginalized talent territories, and he was inspired
by his time abroad.
His writing is brave, original, and nonconforming. He believes in equal opportunity and doing
