*BRICKING NEW* NEW Episode incoming!
We are testing something new here at Back 2 Brick. Instead of starting our Designer interview with the Bricking News, we are going to make it a dedicated episode every Friday to "rebuild the week of LEGO News" for you to catch up on what you missed!. So let's get out that LEGO brick separator and break down the LEGO news from the last week.
1. LEGO Masters Fox Deal with Tubi
It's been difficult to find the UK and Australian season of the LEGO Masters which have had a few seasons. Fox has struck a deal that will allow the streaming service Tubi to stream the UK and Australian LEGO Masters seasons.
2. Adidas LEGO Trainer
Adidas is looking to team up with LEGO to release an A-ZX trainer shoe sometime this fall. This wouldn't be the first shoe collaboration LEGO has done but a fun one that was unexpected! Adidas is celebrating their A-ZX trainer shoe with 26 designs that work with other companies and look to add LEGO as a new partner. Good for all those shoe and LEGO collectors!
3. Bespin Duel
75294 Despin Duel released on August 27th at $39.99.
4. LEGO stuck in nose!
A young New Zealnd boy was playing with a LEGO set about 2 years ago and putting a LEGO piece too close ot to his brain (in his nose), come on, we've all been there, got it stuck. His parents and even a doctor were unable to find it. Until now. Nice a sneeze this past week and out shoots the LEGO! Goes to show. Keep your LEGO bricks away from your nose!
5. LEGO Minifigure Factory
In the UK the LEGO Flagship store in Leicester Square is adding a Minifigure Factory Machine!
6. AFOL Book
"The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks" a dedicated AFOL BOOK! You can find it on https://unbound.com/books/lego/. You can support the book and purchase it for $75. BUT there are a ton of other options were you can get exclusive retired sets (all sold out), the book signed by the author, or come LEGO House exclusive sets with the book. All very cool options and at 73% go support it so it gets produced!
7. VIP "Last Change" Retired Sets
Some sets retire before we are able to get our hands on them. It seems, LEGO wants to help rectafie that. Some retire LEGO sets are coming back onto LEGO.com and allowing VIP members to have a "last change" in grabbing them. Right now they include the LEGO Star Wars UCS 75144 Snowspeeder and 21315 Ideas Pop-up Book. We will see how long these retired sets last in stock!
8. Harry Potter Diagon Alley
The biggest news of the week is the photos leaked about the lastest Direct to Consumer set 75978 Harry Potter Diiagon Alley! at 5,544 pieces and $399.99, it's not a small set! With tons of cool stores and great minifigures it's a Harry Potter nerds dream! The photos show an amazing set and hope we see official image and news of its release date in the coming days!
