We got some hot news incoming!
Welcome everyone to the Bricking News Friday were we rebuild what happened the last week with LEGO. This week was not too bad and had a diverse range of news from Mindstorm to the New York Toys Fair.
1. New York Toys Fair has now been delayed to May 2021. Hopefully, LEGO will still release these sets on time without showing them off.
2. LEGO Ideas Art contest. If you feel at all artistic (which most of us do to some degree) you can get a chance to have your art displayed on the new LEGO Campus! Head over to the LEGO Ideas Contest section.
3. LEGO truck is traveling to Houston to offer one of nine free mini builds to people! Check it out!
4. Lots of LEGO sales at Amazon ranging from 15-30% off!
5. On display at LEGO House in Billund, Denmark, it took 2,700 hours to make 'Rebuild The World', using over 350,000 LEGO bricks and elements. It hopes to be a "joyful symbol of hope and positivity" with kids' creations split into five different categories including nature, vehicles, fantasy, objects, and places.
6. LEGO Mindstorm Porsche will be available soon! Able to drive itself around (no idea WHY they didn't do a Tesla) and have some new integrated sensors!
7. LEGO Master Model Builder position open at the New Jersey Discovery Center!
8. LEGO CMO talks about the human connection and how having personal interaction drives the LEGO brand.
9. LEGO Star Wars Gift Box! It's a mystery
10. DOUBLE VIP POINTS! This will run from 8-20 October so get out there and buy some LEGO sets!
