He's on the space coast. Never even thought about trying to homestead until 3 or 4 years ago... Got chickens the first year, put a lot of time into learning about them, had knack for it. Added ducks and had more plans, but last year slowed them down. Started canning last year and that turned out really well for the tomatoes, plan on getting more next season and really we're trying to focus on an herb garden to and learning homeopathic thoughts in medicine.
