SMBs need to make technology work for their teams and to accomplish most organizational goals. Too often, I see businesses using the Ready, Fire, Aim, strategy, and it is concerning…It is much better practice to deploy tested systems, strategies and shortcuts to rapidly power-up the customer activity you need, address market demands, and reliably fuel your business. Entrepreneurial businesses are the lifeblood of community and can make significant advancements through online marketing and sales. When SMBs have the right partners here, they can make more money and reduce stress, while increasing their impact and influence. We are joined by Jacob Griscom, Chief Business Development Officer at R&B Communications. Jacob & team start with an in depth understanding of your business, and then build a free custom Digital Playbook for your business.

Steven gives a deep definition of a good small and medium sized business. Steven then introduces the daily special guest Jacob Griscom, Chief Business Development Officer at R&B Communications. Jacob & the team start with an in-depth understanding of your business and then build a free custom Digital Playbook for your business. Jacob and his team contract themselves with small to large businesses for long-term as well as short term support, his company ‘R&B Communications’ build and optimize the internal structure, secure investors, grow partnerships, get more customers and build customer value. Jacob has worked in and with all fields as well as worked with numerous organizations in various departments. Jacob and his team begin by getting an in-depth understanding of your company, and then they make you an all you need playbook company for your company.
Steven welcomes everyone back and gets everyone hyped to speak to Jacob. Jacob begins by talking about having a framework is like having a map, this ‘map’ technically helps you progress and follow directions to reach your goals. Jacob then begins to break down various levels of ways of getting or attracting customers on the internet, Steven agrees and details his experience and knowledge in the same field. When talking about digital marketing in specific there are people who claim to have knowledge about this profession and can do everything - Steven asks how does R&B Communications differentiate itself from other firms or people who claim they can do everything Jacob can do? Jacob explains that R&B Communications is good at paying attention to detail at every single point in the process, however, when coming down to building their virtual foundation R&B Communications is always on top of it and can build a strong online presence with the right order and clear intact framework.
Jacob is asked about the madness that he has seen in his field along the way; Jacob details a story of someone he was connected within his career and even on the literal dancefloor. He progresses and talks about working in cybersecurity with this person, and he talks about the paranoia of working in cybersecurity. Jacob talks about how within cybersecurity there are people manipulating bots to breach other people’s private information online - and there are approximately around 200,000 attempts of breaching that security weekly and the real vulnerability is if one actually gets through. He talks about how there was a whole attack and the company was sleeping on it and completely ignoring it - this company was involved in marijuana and ironically on April 20th they were breached and had to start their entire structure from the ground up due to sleeping on cybersecurity.
According to Jacob people should be always working on their business map and how the map continues, as “action reflects priorities.” Jacob strongly believes after some self-assessment it is important to have big picture thinking about the company every week to make sure the company is always on the right secure track. Steve diverts the conversation to talk about the weekly favorite movie and tv character. Steven queues ‘The Entrepreneurial Web’ and thanks Jacob for being on the show. Steven introduces next week's topic and says goodbye.
