Description

If you have ever wondered what it is like to start your own SMB through the world of franchising, it can be a big decision regarding which franchise is going to work best for you.

When you ask most people what comes to mind when they hear the word "franchise," you may hear them speak of restaurant, hospitality, and leisure groups. They primarily think of big name, commercialized food establishments, that they see in proximity to every traffic light in town.

However, the world of franchising has many options these days, that weren't around years ago. Many SMBs that have maintained focus on their vision, have gone through the process of becoming a franchise, which leaves you with lots of choices for your new endeavor. Franchise consultants, and trusted advisors on the subject, may often serve as an executive recruiter, as it relates to the franchise world. They will learn as much as they can about their client's wish list for a new SMB, and look to play match-maker using a specific list of vetted franchises that are not only proven concepts, but ones that they are intimately familiar with.

We are joined by Alan Goldberg, Founder at Fran-Link - Franchise Advisory & Consulting Group. Alan works with executives in transition from the corporate world, entrepreneurs, newly minted MBA’s and career-switchers looking to re-boot and spin their careers in new directions. He is the guide that upcoming SMB owners partner with, to navigate the wilderness of franchising.
