Our show is short a host this week as one of us, who shall not be named, forgot that a working internet connection is useful for recording a zoom podcast... but no need to worry, the other mainstays are all here and picking up the slack.
The guys start off with a scandal in the NFL and allegations of racist hiring practices. Filled with sham interviews, texts from Belichick and tampering on a yacht cruise you wont want to miss the guys deep dive into the Flores lawsuit.
The NFL isn't the only pro football league up for discussion today, the guys talk about a new partnership in the CFL and if it will usher in a new era of success for the Canadian league or if more changes are needed to save the CFL.
Back South of the border, the greatest to ever play in the NFL retires... but really this time... no seriously. Although most of us never liked him, it's hard to argue that he was the GOAT, the guys give their thoughts on if he was just the greatest QB or the best NFL player in general to ever play.
Although the GOAT retired, others continue to build their legacy. The guys weigh in on the upcoming Rams - Bengals Superbowl picking their winners (you'll be SHOCKED by Jesse's pick) and they give a hot take each that they see happening this game.
Heard enough about the NFL? Well too bad! Our penalty box stays on theme as The Football Team is no more but we knew that early as the lackluster effort made in hiding the new name of Washington's Football team took the drama out of the planned epic name reveal, the guys also weigh in on what nicknames the new name will bring.
All is not lost if you aren't a fan of football, our MVP for the week is a young star making his mark on the court and tying franchise records in the six.
