It’s amazing how God places people in our lives who impact our lives for the better. For me, this person is my husband, Durand and I am so blessed to be one with him. While today marks his 31st birthday, I wanted to share 31 reasons why I’m grateful to have him in my life.

1. His heart is devoted to God 
2. He seeks the kingdom of God above everything
3. He is a man of great faith
4. He loves with his whole heart
5. He truly values family
6. He works unto the Lord willingly
7. He has an amazing smile
8. His laughter is contagious
9. His kindness will warm your heart
10. His eyes are captivating 
11. He loves helping others
12. He is a cheerful giver
13. He sets goals and executes them
14. He walks with authority
15. His confidence is aspirational
16. He seeks peace in all areas of life
17. He’s a great listener
18. His touch brings warmth
19. He remains calm under pressure
20. He trusts in the Lord with all of his heart
21. He loves to entertain 
22. He can dominate in any video game
23. He minds his own business
24. He is respectful and respectable 
25. He’s fun to be around
26. His mind is brilliant
27. His body is spectacular 
28. He uses all of his God-given gifts
29. He loves to dance and enjoys good music
30. He treats women with reverence and respect.
31. He loves his wife wholeheartedly as Christ loves the Church

I could go on and on about the amazing man I’ve been blessed with as my husband, but instead I will express gratitude for the gift that God has given me through Durand.
