We DO start out with a somewhat lengthy NON-spoiler discussion on Mulan so if you haven’t watched the movie, still tune in for that and then come back and listen to the rest of the episode when you have watched it. We’ll tell you what we thought (generally speaking) of the movie, the CGI, the sets/makeup/costuming, the choreographed action scenes, the lack of singing (it’s not a musical), etc.
Once we get into spoilers, we’re mostly talking about the differences it the original movie compared to the new one, what we thought of the new characters, scenes, lines, and what we think some of the overall themes and message of the movie was.
