As a captive, Paul endured a shipwreck because those in charge of the ship would not adhere to the warnings of God. As the ship struck the shore and broke into pieces, Paul warns that only those who remain aboard will survive. Just like Paul, the giant red oak trees, we can become unmovable by taking up the charge to protect and embrace one another during difficulties.
