Subject: HB1477 Blair’s Law regarding celebratory gunfire.
Dear Rep. Patterson,
HB1477 has been on the House calendar for 6 weeks. Last year celebratory gunfire caused the death of four Missourians, injured many and caused a significant amount of property damage. People should be prosecuted for needlessly shooting off firearms. This puts others in danger. Shooting into the air for no reason can be fatal.
