Welcome to worship! This week, we're looking at connections between a fascinating parable from Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew and an ancient prophecy from Isaiah about a vineyard. In this story, we'll see how Jesus is calling us to a different path than the human desire for vengeance, a path he demonstrated by laying down his own life for us out of love.
Today's Scripture readings are Isaiah 5:1-7 and Matthew 21:33-46.
