Bob Murphy is a member of the 300 Game Club, the spiritual leader of the Western Bulldogs and one of the most beloved players in the AFL.

In 2016 Bob went down with a ruptured ACL in the dying stages of a match against Hawthorn at Etihad. As fate would have it the Bulldogs went on to win the Premiership with Murphy watching from the sidelines, but it was a gesture from Luke Beveridge to Bob at the end of the game that became the iconic moment of the Doggies triumph.
