Tayla Harris was named one of the Marquee Players of the inaugural AFLW season, signing with the Brisbane Lions at the tender age of 19. The Lions had a sensational opening season going undefeated all year, but lost to the Adelaide Crows in the Grand Final. In May 2017 Tayla announced that she has parted ways with the Lions to play 2018 and beyond with the Carlton Football Club. Born and bred in Queensland Tayla is leaving behind her footy club, family and friends in a move to Melbourne to further her footy career and her other passion, Boxing.
