5x5 Olympic Basketball in Paris is off and running. The men and women of Team USA both got off the good starts.
Kevin Durant and LeBron James led the men in beating MVP Nikola Jokic and Serbia to opened up Pool Play. Durant scored a game-high 23 points in first action since April. James added 21 points, 7 rebounds, and 9 assists
The ladies dominated a feisty Japan team led by A'Ja Wilson and Breanna Stewart. Wilson had 24 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Stewart added 22 points and 8 rebounds.
