From a young age, the responsibilities thrust upon him shaped his early identity as the hero child, tasked with more than a child should bear. It wasn’t until a defining argument with his wife that Nate recognized the unsustainable nature of his people-pleasing tendencies, which were deeply rooted in his childhood experiences.
