Description

Sex trafficking is defined as anyone who recruits, obtains, provides, or transports another person for commercial sex by force, fraud, or coercion. There is an estimated 400,000 American victims of trafficking. Dr. Celia Williamson will describe the impact of this form of slavery and how providers identify patients involved in trafficking. Finally, she will describe how providers can help these victims.
