In this episode I sat down with 'Endo-Warrior' Alexandra Smith to talk about her journey with endometriosis, a long-term condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows in other places such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes causing pain in your lower tummy or back, severe period pain and pain during or after sex.
Alexandra and I CONNECTED by chance whilst both developing our coaching practices with an online workshop and I knew straight away that this was something that needed to be on the show.
Alexandra is an Endo "coach", raising awareness of this debilitating, yet still widely unknown condition. She also helps people by offering support and resources as well as creating content that can help people with endometriosis who are suffering with pain, fatigue or weight gain to give back their life. Alexandra is a true INSPIRATION. We talked about what it is like to live with endometriosis, and how it can affect your life and, more importantly, how you can LEARN how to not let it rule your life.
