Mean Girls isn’t just a movie. We’ve all been in situations where we’ve been bullied, treated unfairly, ridiculed, not invited, uninvited, accused, laughed at…It’s real life. Mean girls and bullies don’t go away in 7th grade. They follow us into adulthood unfortunately, so figuring out how to move forward and adjust is just as important as how to react in the moment.
In this episode, we share personal experiences, (some more recent than others!) and remind ourselves, once again, of the main thing. We can’t control mean girls, bullies, or anyone/anything else negative entering our world, but we can control how we react and move forward.
Parents, you are your child’s advocate, teacher, trainer, and trusted advisor. We have so much at stake as we raise our kids. We hope our hits (and misses!) help you, encourage you and give you jet fuel to parent with confidence through God’s word and Holy Spirit.
