Description

Child Protective Services (CPS) is a government agency responsible for investigating and providing services to children who are suspected of being victims of abuse or neglect. CPS agencies typically work in collaboration with law enforcement and other child welfare organizations to ensure the safety and well-being of children. The main goal of CPS is to protect children from harm and provide support and resources to families in need. If abuse or neglect is confirmed, CPS may take action to remove the child from the home, provide counseling and other services to the family, and seek legal action against the perpetrator.
