On December 30 th 2018, BHP did something that was unprecedented. A Christmas Giveaway
like no other! The giveaway was a first of its kind for Bowhunter Planet and the hunting industry
alike. The “Big Giveaway” consisted of giving away 40 prizes that ranged from scent control
product packages, trail cams, latest model bows and more! The event attracted over 2,400 views
and over 3,000 comments. A shocking 236 “thumbs up” reactions were recorded with a lone
“thumbs down”
The team showcased some of the best products and gave them away to lucky contestants
(YouTube subscribers/viewers). The YouTube channel has nearly 23,400 subscribers and is
continuing to grow in popularity especially following this one of a kind giveaway. A special
giveaway was rolled out to the Ambassadors program members featuring HUGE giveaway
items. These items were available to Ambassador Members only.
The contest was engaging and at times had nearly 500 viewers tuned in to grab a BHP exclusive
prize! The rules were simple, and mostly all that was required, was to tune in and comment with
a simple prize related comment when prompted. The winner was then selected by the BHP team.
One lucky winner was quoted as saying “This was the most exciting giveaway I’ve ever been
involved with and I can’t believe how easy it was to win”
