Description

Joanna Taft is a passionate public speaker and innovative community builder. She is the Executive Director of the Harrison Center for the Arts in Indianapolis - propelled by her interest in exploring the effects and implications of cultural and economic gentrification in America’s urban spaces, as well as the need to address social issues through the invocation of the arts. She is also the creator of Pre-Enact Indy - an urban project set out to imagine what neighborhood development and growth would look like without the damaging effects of displacement and divestment upon historically invested and founding communities. It was an honor to get to sit down with Joanna and speak with her for today’s episode on what it means to dream, deconstruct, and and do.
