The party continues to travel in the open lands outside of civilization. While the mysterious howling continues to get closer and with a thunderstorm coming, they seek possible shelter in the ruins of an abandoned temple. Later, coming to a large crevasse they must cross, Val is visited by an old friend, with trouble right behind them.
