In today’s extra special episode, we welcome our first guest to the podcast: Scott Carpenter! Scott works in an intensive residential services home with clients coming from long-term hospitalizations. He aims to equip them with skills and strategies to increase their independence and integrate back into the community.
Scott shares some of his unique work experiences and gives advice on dealing with this population, how it’s affected his communication style personally, and the number one skill necessary for relating to others.
P.S. Stay tuned until the end to hear Scott’s opinion on communication in the confusing world of online dating!
