On Saturday, March 25 our host Dr. Marianne T. Ritchie talked with Dr. W. Douglas B. Hiller about how to train and compete safely in a triathlon. Spring is coming and we’re all looking forward to getting back outside. For those of you considering a running event…whether a 5K, a marathon (26.2 miles) or a triathlon like Iron Man (2.4 mi swim, 112 mi cycling, 26.2 mi run!), this episode is for you! Dr. Doug Hiller is an experienced triathlete (Iron Man 3 times) and an Orthopaedic Surgeon who helps staff the medical tents at marathons and triathlons.
