On October 4, 2020, our host Dr. Marianne Ritchie was joined by Dr. Mark Tykocinski and Dr. Matthias Schnell for a discussion about the innovative ways in which the bridging of medicine and other disciplines can solve tomorrow’s problems and the remarkable progress on a vaccine for COVID-19.

Dr. Tykocinski is the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, and The Anthony F. and Gertrude M. DePalma Dean at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University.

Dr. Schnell is a member of the Molecular Biology & Genetics Program, and the Associate Director for Shared Resources of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College. He is also Professor and Chair of the Department of Immunology & Microbiology and Director of the Jefferson Vaccine Center.
