On March 14, 2021, our host Dr. Marianne Ritchie was joined by Dr. Mary Stevens, Katie Keating, and Helen Milligan for a discussion on Down Syndrome.

Dr. Stephens is an Associate Professor of Family Medicine and Director of the Jefferson Continuing Care Program. Mary recognizes all the areas of support needed for patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities, especially as they mature and transition from the Pediatric system. She knows first hand as she is the mother of Callie, her beautiful 9-year-old daughter with Down Syndrome.

Katie Keating is a nurse, the mother of 10, and her youngest child Luke, has Down Syndrome. She is a leader in her faith community and a tireless advocate for those who experience homelessness and members of the Down Syndrome community

Helen Milligan is a Physical Therapist at CHOP and for 18 years has led the charge to include Physical Therapy as a basic component of care for patients with Down Syndrome, including her 18-year-old son Aiden.
