Mississippi State pitching allowed just three hits in a 6-3 win over top ranked Texas Tech over a near capacity crowd in Biloxi on Tuesday.
State used some strong middle innings to outscore the Red Raiders, while Landon Sims and Spencer Price held things down in the final three innings.
The Bulldogs and Red Raiders will meet again tonight to complete a midweek two game set.
