Adam Sanders is a Country Music Artist and Songwriter. Adam joins Country Music Made Me to discuss the moments that inspired his love of music, including one of the most important concerts he's ever attended, seeing Alan Jackson open for Randy Travis and meeting Alan backstage, a moment that would set him on a path towards a career in Country Music. Adam and Brendan talk about the moment he was encouraged by his Uncle Scotty, a session player in Nashville, to being songwriting, how that led to playing gigs all around Florida as a teenager, and how it inspired him to move to Nashville at the age of 21. Adam explains how songwriting helped him create early success in Music City, what it was like hitting #1 as a songwriter with Cole Swindell's "Ain't Worth The Whiskey" and "Hell of a Night" from Dustin Lynch, and the difficulty he had turning success as a songwriter into success as an artist. Finally, Adam talks about self-funding his debut full length album "What If I'm Right", and what it's been like to release music he feels is the most authentic of his career.
