Brittany Kennell is a Canadian Country Musician who spent more than 10 years living in Nashville riding the ups and downs of the music industry. Brittany joins Country Music Made Me to talk about her musical upbringing in Montreal, which included a lost but not forgotten musical project with neighborhood friends and an inspirational high school teacher who taught the aspiring musician that anything is possible. She details her move to Nashville and the years she spent searching for her true musical self and the detours that took her on along the way. She talks about the break-up of her engagement in 2018 and moving back home in the hopes of re-discovering both herself and her musical passion. Finally, she takes us through the past 2 years in returning to her country music roots, re-igniting her passion for life and music and recording her new album "I Ain't a Saint".
