Chase Bryant is a Country Music singer/songwriter who recently released his new album "Upbringing". Chase joins Country Music Made Me to talk about growing up surrounded by music, including his grandpa who was a session player in Nashville and Uncles who were founding members of "Ricochet". He details how music helped guide him as a youngster and moving to L.A in his teens after singing his first record deal. He then talks about leaving L.A. and moving to Nashville in his early 20's to continue his pursuit of a career in Country Music. Finally, he talks about surviving a suicide attempt in 2018 and his road to recovery and re-discovering his passion for music.
