Chase Wright is a singer/songwriter originally from Lebanon, Indiana now living in Nashville. Chase joins Country Music Made Me to talk about growing up with a mom who was a music teacher as well as a player in the city band and how that influence didn't exactly relate to musical chemistry at a young age. He also talks about his time in College when music began to take hold and the experiences that helped lead him towards a move to Nashville after graduation. Finally, he talks about the past 2 years in Nashville as he's moved from songwriter to artist and the success he's seen with the release of singles like "Lying with You", "Why Should We", "Drive" and "Missing You".
