Hailey Whitters is a singer/songwriter from Nashville best known for her breakout single Ten Year Town. Hailey joins Country Music Made Me to talk about growing up in small town Iowa, when the dream of becoming a country musician began and why the only thing she wanted after graduating high school was to move to Nashville. She also talks about the struggles she faced over the years of finding a voice within Music City and the moment all of that went away and she took the biggest step of her career, self producing her album "The Dream". Finally, she talks about the success she's had since the release of her single "Ten Year Town" and what it's like to finally be living the life she dreamed of when moving to Nashville 14 years ago.
