Hannah Dasher is a Country Music Singer/Songwriter with a new EP titled "The Half Record". Hannah joins Country Music Made Me to talk about her musical upbringing, which included watching the Grand Ole Opry wit her Grandparents and dreaming of one day stepping into the iconic circle. There's never been a "Plan B" for the outgoing and hard working Texas native as she's taken a unique route to Nashville, working at Bass Pro Shop selling fishing boats as a way to get her foot in the door in Music City. Her first cut as a songwriter, Go to Bed Early by Brad Paisley, was actually written during one of her shifts, before she was fired for writing on the job. Since her move she's been recognized as a talented up and comer, with 4 performances under her belt at the Opry, being named a CMT Next Women of Country and becoming the face of the Fender Player Plus Nashville Telecaster.
