In March of 2021 we had the pleasure of sitting down with Country Music Singer/Songwriter Lainey Wilson. Lainey talked about growing up in the small farm town of Baskin Louisiana and how her family and the community helped formed her musical identity, her dream of moving to Nashville that formed at the age of 9, and working hard to make a living as a musician in Music City. She also talked about fulfilling her childhood dream of playing the Grand Ole Opry, the work she's put in to becoming a trusted writer in Nashville, including writing with and for Luke Combs, her days as a Hannah Montana cover artist and her new album Sayin' What I'm Thinkin'. It's a wonderful journey from small town America to the bright lights of Nashville!
