Lainey Wilson is an American Country Music Singer/Songwriter from Nashville. Lainey joins The Music Made Me to talk about growing up in the small farm town of Baskin Louisiana and how her family and the community helped formed her musical identity, her dream of moving to Nashville that formed at the age of 9 and working hard to make a living as a musician in the country music capital. She also talks about fulfilling her childhood dream of playing the Grand Ole Opry, the work she's put in to becoming a trusted writer in Nashville, including writing with and for Luke Combs, her days as a Hannah Montana cover artist and her new album Sayin' What I'm Thinkin'.
