MacKenzie Porter is a Canadian country musician currently living in Nashville. She's best known for her #1 hits About You, These Days and Seeing Other People. Mackenzie joins The Music Made Me podcast to talk about her journey in music which started at the age of 4 with Violin, Piano and Voice lessons. She talks about her first live musical experiences with her family band, what it meant to see her brother Kalan win Canadian Idol, moving to Vancouver to peruse acting and how that helped lead her towards a career in music.
