Priscilla Block is a Country Music singer/songwriter who's been chasing a career in Nashville since 2014 and burst onto the scene in 2020 after her song Just About Over You went viral on TikTok. Priscilla joins Country Music Made Me to discuss the important role family has played within her musical journey, the moments in her hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina as a teenager that inspired her to chase a career in music, and what is was like moving to Nashville after High School with only her guitar and big dreams. Priscilla and Brendan talk about her early years in Music City as she developed as an artist and the valuable lessons she learned along the way that helped her become a stronger and more confident performer and songwriter. Priscilla explains what it was like when her song "Just About Over You" went viral and how she's navigated life after seeing her dreams become reality, including singing a record deal with Mercury Nashville, a publishing deal with Warner Chappell, releasing her debut album "Welcome to the Block Party", and being nominated for New Female Artist of the Year at the 2022 ACM Awards and Breakthrough Video of the Year at the CMT Music Awards.
