Sarahbeth Taite is a Country Music singer/songwriter originally from Fort Collins, Colorado. Sarahbeth joins Country Music Made Me to discuss her early musical memories on the piano with her Grandmother, the encouragement her parents offered in following whatever path she chose as long as she worked hard, and how writing musical poems at the age of six transformed into song writing in her early teens after picking up the guitar. Sarahbeth and Brendan talk about signing her first publishing deal at 14 after attending the NSAI Songwriter's workshop in Nashville, what it was like to feel on top of the world at such a young age, and how she's navigated the high's and low's of the industry over the last 10 years. Sarahbeth explains the importance of growth within herself as an artist since the release of her debut single "He Loves Me" in 2015, what it was like working within the unexpected success of her single "Long Way" in 2020, what she learned from her time on American Idol, and what fans can expect from her new EP "For My Own Good".
