In this episode, our host, Earnest James, speaks with, Terence Tillman about grief, mental health and overcoming your adversities. Terence Tillman was born and raised in Queens, NY and is the President & CEO of Tillman Unlimited LLC. Terence is a Certified Life Coach, Empowerment Speaker, Communication Strategist and Mental & Emotional Wellness Advocate. It all started in his teenage years where he developed a strong passion to help motivate his peers. He made a career for 10 years in sales and sales management in various fortune 500 companies where he developed his coaching, training and relationship building skills. After having a successful run in the for-profit sector, he started working in the nonprofit sector in workforce development programs. Working in these programs he wrote curriculums and facilitated training classes on empowerment, self-love, financial literacy, and career readiness.
In 2017 Terence became a Certified Life Coach through the Powerology Institute via Master Life Coach Aisha Nikole. Since that time Terence has partnered and worked with various universities, nonprofits, and organizations across the NYC metro area providing speaking, workshop and training services. He also provides one-on-one life coaching services on business, career, self-improvement and communication strategy.
In June 2020 he created a show on Instagram live called Conversations of the Heart w/ T.Till. The show is about having real conversations with real people, as well as celebrating people doing amazing things in the community. Terence’s vision for the show is to have open, vulnerable, tough, and informative conversations on an array of topics that effect everyday people especially in the black and brown communities. The show has grown into a full-blown podcast where you can also listen on Anchor, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, iHeart Radio, Google Podcasts, Amazon Music and more. He is also the curator of The Tillman Unlimited Collection, a merchandise line that cultivates positivity, affirmations, self-love, and mental wellness which launched May of 2021.
