The debut of a new format for WCW, Nitro went to TWO HOURS, which featured Arn Anderson & Ric Flair (w/ Miss Elizabeth & Woman) facing The American Males (Marcus Alexander Bagwell & Scotty Riggs), Steve Doll vs. The Mauler (w/ Col. Robert Parker), Diamond Dallas Page against Sgt. Craig Pittman (w/ Teddy Long), The Giant (w/ Jimmy Hart) facing Shark for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, a WCW World Television Title Match with Lex Luger (c) and a man called Maxx, Bobby Walker faced off with Brad Armstrong, Lord Steven Regal (w/ Jeeves) against Alex Wright, with Scott Steiner vs. Sting in the Main Event.
We also see Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbysko for the first time in their Nitro role, and a surprise appearance and THE BIRTH of the nWo, from Scott Hall, aka Razor Ramon!
